Who are we?
Your data will be processed by Feel Local, Ltd., collective entity no. 515 266 167 (hereinafter referred to as Feel Local).
Feel Local is responsible for the processing of your personal data within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter RGPD).
Why do we handle your information?
Your personal data may be collected and processed by Feel Local for the following purposes:
(a) For the fulfillment of legal obligations to which Feel Local is subject, namely communications to the Foreigners and Border Services and Invoicing.
b) For the purposes of implementation of the Temporary Accommodation for Tourists Contract or the Local Accommodation Management Contract concluded with Feel Local, including payment transactions, management of check-ins and check-outs, guest management, security deposit blocks, provision of additional services to the stay such as cleaning, transfers and breakfast or grocery service, management of contractual obligations or for the purposes of pre-contractual diligence.
c) For the purpose of contact via email, mobile communications, digital platforms, within the scope of Feel Local’s marketing strategies, commercial and contractual information and communications, as well as for information requests.
d) For the purposes of protection of assets owned or in the custody of Feel Local, as well as for statistical analysis.
Failure to provide personal data for the purposes set out in paragraphs a) and b), shall imply that Feel Local is in breach of its legal obligations and consequently may terminate the Temporary Tourist Accommodation Contract or the Local Accommodation Management Contract entered into, without any right to compensation, as well as a deficient supply of services by Feel Local which cannot be attributed to it.
What kind of personal data do we collect?
As part of its activity, Feel Local will collect and process personal data necessary for the provision of contracted services, information requests or pre-contractual management, including identification, contact, bank or payment card data.
What do we treat your information for?
The processing of your personal data will be carried out based on the execution of the Temporary Accommodation for Tourists Contract, the Local Accommodation Management Contract and in compliance with legal obligations imposed on Feel Local, in particular by legislation on the Entry, Stay and Exit of Foreigners in the National Territory and tax legislation (article 6.1 b) and c) of the RGPD).
Additionally, the personal data collected for the purposes set out in paragraph c) of the previous point, are based on the consent given by you to Feel Local for their processing (Article 6.1 paragraph a) of RGPD).
For the purposes set out in paragraph d) of the previous point, Feel Local will process personal data based on legitimate interest pursued by it (Article 6.1 f) of the RGPD).
How long do we keep your information?
Without prejudice to legal or regulatory provisions or judicial determination to the contrary, the personal data collected will be kept only for the minimum period necessary for the purposes that motivated their collection or their subsequent processing.
To whom may we transmit your personal data?
Feel Local may need to share some of your personal data with other recipients. Such recipients include:
(a) organizations and/or companies affiliated with Feel Local provided that they comply with an equivalent policy on personal data protection.
b) Public Entities to which Feel Local is legally obliged to provide information, including the Foreigners and Borders Service and the DGCI – Directorate General of Taxes.
c) Subcontractors who provide certain services related to your personal data under a subcontract and for the sole purpose of providing technical assistance to Feel Local. These include, in particular, website hosting providers, mail marketing service providers, cleaning service companies, law firms, accounting firms and insurance companies.
d) The competent authorities to which Feel Local is legally obliged to disclose information in the course of legal proceedings or to detect technical and/or security problems, such as Judicial Authorities or competent Control Authorities.
Is my data transferred to Countries outside the European Union?
Your personal data collected by Feel Local will not be transferred to any entity established outside the territory of the European Union.
Exceptionally and under certain conditions, Feel Local may transfer your personal data to countries outside the territory of the European Union, in accordance with applicable law, in particular for the purposes of data hosting or storage, technical subcontracting of processing, back-up and recovery of hosted data, development of services.
Feel Local assures you that it will not transfer your personal data to countries that do not guarantee an adequate level of protection, in accordance with the provisions of the RGPD.
What are my rights?
At any time, under the provisions of the RGPD, you may request access to your personal data, as well as their rectification or erasure, limitation of the processing carried out, the right to object and the right to data portability.
If the requests made are manifestly unfounded or excessive, in particular because of their repetitive nature, Feel Local may require the payment of a reasonable fee taking into account the administrative costs of providing the information or communications or of taking the measures requested, or refuse to act on the request.
With respect to personal data whose processing by Feel Local is legitimized by consent, you have the right to withdraw consent, without the exercise of this right may compromise the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent previously given, or the subsequent processing of the same data based on another legal basis, such as compliance with the contract or legal obligation to which Feel Local is subject.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the National Commission for Data Protection.
Security and Confidentiality
We strive to keep your data secure, and therefore we implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk of keeping your personal data on file. However, the transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure, and we cannot absolutely guarantee the security of information transmitted via our site.
We also respect the confidentiality of your information. As such, we do not sell, distribute or otherwise make your information commercially available to third parties. Feel Local is committed to keeping your information confidential in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.
